I have too much wind in my life

Thursday I finally had my Ayurveda health consultation. It was interesting but the result mean a big change has to be done especially in the food department.

My body was compared with a fire. It needs logs to burn, wind to start but if you either put to much logs or wind it will shut down. I apparently have too much wind, heck I’m blowing full storm.

I’m a Vata person but I have to honest. When I read the description of that kind of person I definitive can’t see myself. Slender? What a joke!!

So what will happen? I have got a few yoga practices that I need to do everyday, I need to do Yoga Nidra at least 3 times a week and I need to meditate every day. I can do that!
The hardest part will be in the food department. I’m not suppose to eat anything that have been frozen, been warmed in the micro or is cold. Cheese and bananas are in the past. Sugar too.

I need to eat a hot meal at lunch time and rest 10 min. Lunch is the most important meal for me, not dinner as today. I have been in contact with my boss and instead of having to put 30 min extra on each day (I seem to never be ready to go home at 16.30) I’ll take 1½ hours lunch instead. I’m not it’s going to work but I’ll give it a try. Even a couple days per week will be a success right now. I can drink 2 cups of my beloved black tea after that herbal tea is prefered. " Tea" hot water during the day

I’m going to get everything in writing from Mattias which is a good thing for beside the things I have mentioned I can’t remember anything. Well, one more thing I do remember and that is how blank my mind went when he asked me what I did cook. I’m going to get some recipes too which is excellent as I’ll be doing food that I have never tried before.

So here I go!! A new life awaits around the corner!

  1. I could possibly survive without cheese, but definitely not without bananas! Good luck with the ayurveda dietary plan, it sounds very challenging!
