Why is it that I can start things I probably will regret later? So what have I done this time?
Yesterday I noticed on my company’s intranet that they had a small notice about a step competition. I asked my boss if she knew anything about it but she didn’t. However if I were interested it was Ok to join. Any way, me being me, I continued today to look for information and so I did. It turned out to be a nationwide team competition. Together the team would have to walk between Stockholm and Prague (figural speaking). So what did I do? Well I send out a messaged to my co-workers wondering if they would want to join. And when I had one more name besides mine I sent a messaged to one of the healthcare centres we have here in Gävle challenging them. My boss was going to tell her staff at the other health care centre. Now since you are allowed to change time into steps in things like bike riding, gym I now have 4 names on my list and I do know at least one more. On Monday when everyone is back at work I’ll have all the names that will join.
Now I work with a group of very competitive people so I don’t know which part is going to be worst: the world wide competition, the one between the three units or the one between us? Competition among us? Believe me there will be one. We OT’s are the ones that don’t have so much competitive spirit but if I have to, beware don’t count this unfit fat OT out.
Think I have to prepare Stella that between the 11 mars and 30 May she will be walking and walking and even more walking? And no shortcuts will be allowed!

My guess is that Stella will be very pleased to take extra walks with you. LOL, you have got yourself into something here haven't you?
