Gosh, I never thought

I never thought I would be sentimental over a bed. About 25 years ago I bought a pine wood bed and it has served me well. It has joined me on several moves. It has been taken apart, just to put back together during renovations done on different bedrooms. It had lost one of its knobs. 2 weeks ago my friend Annelie and I packed it and took it, bureau and chest to the recycle centre.

But before …..

- Stella and I had our last lunch cuddle on Friday

- I slept in for the last time and in the morning

- We had our last cuddle in it. Oh well It did leave a large empty space

But a week later it was filled and this weekend the rest came in place.

Ok some small things need to be done, like doorknobs. I need a drill to do that and someone to hold it. Until then the piece of wood stops the door from closing completely.
