the badger

Today a very small news article caught my eye. Afterwards I had a smile on my lips.
It was from Germany. Some drivers had called in that a dead badger some laying on the road and the police went there to get rid of it. Once there they realized that the badger was drunk. It had been festing on some overriped fermented cherries. It had after the fest dragged himself out on the road and collapsed. Ok, this is not fun, for the animal, that is. Here comes the fun part. The police wrote in the incident report: "It is not known whether the badger got in trouble with his wife when he returned home in that state. ;)
